A simple email is like it sounds.You simply send the award as an attachment to the winners.You usually ask then to link it to your site. Another simple email is you send them a link to a page on your site where the award is and ask them to pick it up there. Here are two examples of simple emails Sam your site was great Enclosed is the bannana award as an attachment please link it to http://www.bannanaboy.com Thank you for entering your site for the Bannana Award George Jettson WEBMASTER BANANNA HEAVEN I really liked your site Fred You've won the Turtle Award,please pick it up here http://www.tutlesoup.com/award.gif Then link it to http://www.turtlesoup.com Thanks Again for entering Your site has been added to our winners page.You can check it out here http://www.turtlesoup.com/winners.htm Webmaster Turtlesoup Johnny Joe The above examples don't contain real addresses but you get the idea.Remember when sending to put a subject line that will tell them it is an award.Remember to mention the name of your award in the email.You can also add a little ad for your site at the bottom of the emails you send out. like The name of your site,a link to it,and a description. Tired of writing an email to all the different winners of your award.Don't, send the same email to all the winners.Create a forms email that you can send out.They'll all be the same but they won't know.Just use the form of the emails in the above section,but don't add the names keep them nameless so they can be sent to anyone its that simple |

CUSTOMIZING A FORMS EMAIL Its easy to customize a forms email so everyone of them is a little different.Just make a forms email and use XXXX in the places you want to add a customized item.Like in the sample below. Dear XXXXXX I just got back from your website XXXXXX It looks great,and you've won the PINK FLAMINGO AWARD It's enclosed please link it to http://flamingo.com That's it just keep the form email in a file .and change where the XXXX's are to there name or whatever the XXXX,s stand for Article created by Randy Laduron Webmaster Awards club |

USING A MASS MAILING PROGRAM If you get lots of award application,using a mass mailing program can help.A mass mailing program will keep a copy of your email form in its files.To send out your award just add the email addresses to place for the list of addresses and send them all at once I use a mass mailing program to send out awards called mailmaster.I have about 5 website each giving out awards if I didn't it would be impossible to send out the awards to the winners. I couldn't keep up with the awards programs.Using a mass mailing program is a great time saver Heres the link to the one I use http://www.gounev.com/mailmaster There is a freeware version ,thats the one I use, And a shareware version.
